"Joining God's Mission... Sharing His Love"
Our Story
San Diego Christian Reformed Church has been a part of the San Diego community since 1943. Thousands of
people, many of them in the armed services, have come and gone through the years and spent time here as part of
our church family. The church also operated an on-campus serviceman’s home for almost 3 decades.
We are presently located on the eastern edge of San Diego (see the map in the ‘More Info’ section) just off El
Cajon Blvd. and 70th St. We’ve been here for over 40 years, and have a highly functional 5-acre campus that
houses the church and two pre-schools.
We are a ‘full-service’ church, with Sunday worship, classes, small groups and activities for all ages. We engage
pastoral services on a full-time basis. We also keep food supplies available to meet needs within our local
community.
Even though we are a community-oriented local church, we are also a member congregation of the Christian
Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA), a Bible-believing, evangelical, group of more than 1100 churches
(260,000 members) that reaches out world-wide with the Good News of God’s love in Christ. The Christian
Reformed Church has been active in the USA since 1857. We call ourselves:
‘Christian’… because we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be his followers.
‘Reformed’… because we're part of the historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of the
leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who struggled to return Christianity to its biblical roots.
‘Church’… because God has called us to be a fellowship of his people in the world.
We invite you to ‘check us out’ on a Sunday morning (10:00 am… 9:30 am in the summer). We receive guests on
a weekly basis. Come as you are and expect a warm welcome!
